Overview
Job Title: HR & Administration Officer, Industry: Real Estate, Location: Riverside, Nairobi Gross Salary: Ksh 70,000 - 80,000 Our client, a growing group of companies, is seeking to hire an experienced, organized, and proactive Human Resources & Administration Officer to support HR operations, recruitment, onboarding, office administration, and staff coordination. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient HR processes, accurate employee records management, and smooth day-to-day administrative operations across the Group. Key Responsibilities • Recruitment & Onboarding – Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings, shortlisting, interviews, onboarding, and induction of new employees. • HR Records Management – Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, personnel files, contracts, and HR documentation in compliance with company policies. • Leave & Attendance Management – Monitor staff attendance, manage leave applications, and maintain accurate leave records and HR databases. • Performance Tracking Support – Assist in performance appraisal processes, tracking staff performance records, and supporting performance review documentation. • Staff Welfare & Engagement – Support employee welfare initiatives, staff engagement activities, and internal communication processes. • Office Administration – Manage day-to-day office operations including office supplies, stationery, facilities, and general administrative coordination. • Procurement Support – Assist in procurement processes including supplier coordination, purchase requisitions, and tracking of office assets and supplies. • Policy Implementation – Support enforcement and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and administrative guidelines across the organization. • Records & Documentation Management – Maintain proper filing systems for HR and administrative records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and accessibility. • General Administrative Support – Provide administrative assistance to management and support cross-functional teams across the Group. Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field. • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources, recruitment, onboarding, office administration, employee records management, procurement support, and staff coordination. • Professional HR certification (CHRP or equivalent) is an added advantage. • Strong understanding of HR practices, labour laws, and administrative procedures. • Experience working in a fast-paced SME or multi-business environment is an added advantage. • Proficiency in MS Office applications and HR information systems. • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail. • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
