Role Description The Country Representative – Kenya will serve as the primary in-country lead for Germinate Africa, responsible for growing the platform’s presence, network, and partnerships within the Kenyan legal ecosystem. This is a partnership role that involves engaging law firms, solo practitioners, bar associations, and legal-tech stakeholders to drive adoption of the platform and support cross-border collaboration. The Country Representative will coordinate outreach campaigns, host and support events or workshops, gather market insights, and provide feedback to the product and operations teams to ensure the platform meets local needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include relationship management, user onboarding and support, liaison work between Kenyan stakeholders and Germinate Africa’s wider team, and tracking key performance indicators related to growth and engagement. The role also includes advocating for responsible, technology-enabled legal practice and promoting Germinate Africa’s mission of building trusted, scalable legal infrastructure across Africa. Qualifications • Strong relationship-building, stakeholder engagement, and community management skills, within the legal sector. • Experience in business development, partnership management, or market expansion, with the ability to identify and convert growth opportunities. • Understanding of the Kenyan legal ecosystem, including law firm operations, regulatory frameworks, and professional networks. • Comfort with technology platforms, AI-driven tools, and basic digital literacy, with the ability to advocate for tech-enabled legal services. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and advocacy abilities. • Demonstrated organizational, planning, and project management skills to coordinate events, initiatives, and reporting. • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with remote, cross-border teams. • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field; admission to practice law in Kenya is an advantage. • Prior experience in legal-tech
