This role is offered at Band 2, and you need to be available to complete 12 weeks Induction / Training at full time hours. Applicants must be able to work a variety of shift patterns, as fixed shifts (for example, nights only) are not currently available.Once you have successfully completed the National Care Certificate Training, you will be made a Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker. Main duties of the job As a Healthcare Support Worker you will assist the Registered Nurses in the delivery of care to our patients , you will work as part of a team ensuring our patients are cared for in a Kind, Safe and Excellent way, ensuring they are treated with dignity at all times. About the Role: The role is varied, equally challenging and rewarding. You will have the opportunity to really make a difference to the experience of patients. Full time and part time posts will be considered, and shifts include long days, nights, weekends, and public holidays. Our HCSW's will need the flexibility to cover varied shift patterns. As part of this role you will be required to: Support to serve meals to patients Provide personal care to patients Take observations such as blood pressure measurements, pulse, urinalysis and temperature.
