Job OverviewCo-operative Bank is seeking a competent and highly motivated ICT Risk Officer to join the ICT Risk and Control Team. Reporting to the Head of ICT Risk and Control, the successful candidate will provide ongoing independent assurance of the Bank’s Information Security, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IT systems. The role involves ensuring appropriate security controls are implemented to protect the Bank’s assets and managing ICT-related risks in compliance with policies, laws, regulatory guidelines, and standards.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct ICT risk assessments on Co-operative Bank systems and recommend adequate IT security controls to mitigate risks.Continuously review and enhance ICT controls across servers, applications, databases, and network devices.Provide ongoing assurance on ICT risks affecting the Bank’s systems.Evaluate ICT controls for operating systems, applications, database management interfaces, and networks to ensure compliance with regulatory, standards, and internal policies.Promote Information Security awareness by offering consultation, guidance, and conducting awareness programs to foster a compliant culture.Anticipate potential threats and vulnerabilities, coordinating with the ICT department to implement effective mitigation measures.Manage ICT Risk registers.Perform periodic vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on Bank systems, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending remediation.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or Computer Science.Relevant IT Security certifications such as CISA, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a highly computerized environment.Experience implementing Information Security Standards like ISO 27001 and COBIT.Understanding of ICT risk and systems security control processes.Knowledge of Information Systems Architecture and operational practices.Familiarity with audit methodologies.Experience with Windows Enterprise servers or UNIX systems.Experience working in IT within a banking environment is an advantage.Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices including Identity and Access Management, Data Protection, and Penetration Testing.How to ApplyIf you meet the requirements and are eager to advance your career, apply by accessing [apply via Tujiajiri] using Chrome browser.
