Laboratory Technologist

Overview

South B Hospital Ltd is seeking to recruit a qualified, experienced, and committed Laboratory Technologist to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests accurately and efficiently. • Collect, receive, process, and analyze laboratory specimens in accordance with established procedures. • Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure timely reporting of results. • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment. • Adhere to quality control, infection prevention, safety, and laboratory standards. • Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of specimens and laboratory waste. • Work collaboratively with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care. Key Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences/Technology from a recognized institution. • Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience. • Valid KMLTTB practising licence. • Demonstrated knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality assurance, and safety standards. • Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
