Overview
Indomie Kenya is seeking an experienced and results-driven Warehouse and Logistics Head to oversee all warehouse operations, inventory management, transportation, and distribution activities. The successful candidate will ensure efficient movement of goods, maintain optimal inventory levels, and lead the logistics team to achieve operational excellence while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Plan, direct, and manage daily warehouse and logistics operations. Oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and dispatch of products. Ensure timely and cost-effective distribution to customers and distributors. Monitor inventory accuracy and implement effective stock control procedures. Optimize warehouse layout, storage utilization, and operational workflows. Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse and logistics personnel. Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Manage transport planning and coordinate with third-party logistics providers where applicable. Analyze logistics performance and prepare operational reports and KPIs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs. Collaborate with Sales, Production, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and transportation planning. Experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Excellent leadership, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
