What You'll Do In this role you will act as the primary custodian of the hotel’s daily financial records and support the broader accounting function. • Record all financial transactions accurately and maintain up‑to‑date ledgers for cash, bank and general accounts. • Generate payment vouchers, invoices and receipts, ensuring each document complies with internal controls. • Perform daily reconciliations of cash balances, bank statements and subsidiary accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies. • Oversee the accounts payable and receivable registers, confirming that supplier invoices are paid on time and customer balances are collected promptly. • Follow up with guests and corporate clients on overdue balances, supporting the finance team’s collection targets. • Process supplier payments, keep supplier master files current, and verify that all payments are authorized. • Assist the payroll team in preparing staff salaries, statutory deductions and related compliance filings. • Contribute to stock‑taking exercises and cost‑control initiatives by reconciling inventory records with financial data. • Prepare periodic financial reports, assist in budget preparation and provide variance analysis for management review. • Maintain an organized filing system for all accounting paperwork, both physical and electronic, to facilitate audit readiness. • Collaborate closely with hotel management to ensure financial policies are adhered to and suggest improvements where needed. What We're Looking For The successful candidate will bring a blend of formal education, practical experience and personal integrity. • A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. • CPA Part II qualification or higher is considered a strong advantage. • At least three years of hands‑on accounting or finance experience, preferably within the hospitality sector. • Proficiency with accounting software packages and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. • Excellent analytical abilities, strong organisational habits and a proven track record of solving problems independently. • High ethical standards, confidentiality and meticulous attention to detail. • Ability to work autonomously, meet strict deadlines and communicate effectively with both finance colleagues and hotel management.
